“Hearbreaker” is inspired by dealing with the loss of the legends that influenced our lives and left us too soon. In this instance, Tom Petty who also inspired the track’s title.

Heartbreaker came together because I wanted to write a song honoring Tom Petty. There is no one cooler and more honest than him. His musical talents and his not going to take crap from anyone attitude has inspired myself and so many other musicians/songwriters.

His life ended way too early but his music lives on and I hope this song captures that legacy.
